Phanes for e-commerce teams: control over your store's ad spend
The budget is yours, even if an agency runs the campaigns. Phanes shows where the money goes, whether the numbers can be trusted and what is worth changing, before the monthly report arrives.
7 days of PRO free · no cardAn e-commerce team usually sees its ads in pieces: Meta in one dashboard, Google in another, revenue in GA4 and an agency report once a month. Phanes puts it together in one picture of the business.
One business instead of five dashboards
Phanes groups accounts into businesses. The engine treats a Meta campaign, a Google campaign and GA4 revenue as parts of one store, not three separate worlds.
All channels
Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts assigned to one business.
Sources of truth
GA4, Search Console and the Facebook page next to ad results.
Products
The product catalog from Google Ads and signals about products that spend without selling.
Recommendations therefore take the whole store into account. When Meta and Google disagree with GA4, you see it in one place instead of comparing three reports.
Spend under constant control
A light check every 30 minutes and a full analysis every night. When something unusual happens on an account under care, you get an alert by email and push notification. No budget change reaches the account without your approval.
| What it detects | When | |
|---|---|---|
| Stopped delivery | A campaign stopped serving | Every 30 minutes, from 9:00 |
| Spend spike | Daily spend above 2× the account median | Every 30 minutes |
| Cost per conversion spike | Cost per conversion above 2× normal, with at least 3 conversions | In the nightly analysis |
| Rejected ad | An ad blocked by the platform | In the nightly analysis |
| Campaign without spend | A new campaign has not started spending | 24 hours after launch |
Alerts work for accounts with care enabled. Thresholds are calculated from your account's own history rather than fixed values, so an alert signals something unusual for that account.
Measurement first, budget second
Before you decide on a budget, you need to know whether conversions can be trusted. Phanes checks Google Ads conversions, the GTM container, GA4 and the Meta pixel and issues one verdict.
When measurement is suspect, Phanes proposes no conversion-based changes. For a store, that protects against the most expensive mistake: moving budget to a campaign that only looks good in the report.
Analytics that explain themselves
- Revenue and ROAS from Meta and Google in the account currency.
- A measurement verdict (healthy, suspect, broken or unverified) so you know whether to trust the numbers.
- GA4 and Search Console next to ads: where customers really come from.
- Rankings of creatives and audiences that sell.
- Every screen answers: what am I seeing, from when, what does it mean and what should I do.
- A report by click date or by conversion date, with one switch.
Three situations every store knows
Saturday, a campaign stopped serving
Phanes notices the stopped delivery in its light check every 30 minutes and sends an alert. You do not learn about it from Monday's report.
The agency proposes doubling the budget
You check the measurement verdict and the campaign's learning phase. If conversions are inflated or the campaign is still learning, you have a concrete argument for the conversation.
A product spends but does not sell
The signal from the product catalog goes to the care channel, and you decide what to do before the budget is gone.
Products that spend but do not sell
Phanes reads the product catalog from Google Ads and points out products that use budget without sales, as well as feed health problems. These signals go to the care channel along with other recommendations.
Products and Merchant Center in one place
Phanes shows the products of Shopping and Performance Max campaigns with statistics, plus issues reported by Merchant Center. You can fix titles, descriptions, product types and custom labels from Phanes, and build product group trees from the live feed, just as in Google Ads. On Meta, Phanes edits the catalog and product sets.
Material for conversations with your agency
Phanes does not have to replace your agency. It gives you an independent view of the account and concrete topics for the meeting.
Recommendations with a rationale
Every card cites the rule and the numbers it comes from, plus the loss amount.
Audit as a PDF
Ready-made meeting material with problems ordered by severity.
A shared analytics view
An analytics link for the agency or the board, valid from 1 to 30 days.

Google Ads and Meta Ads, plus read-only GA4 and Search Console.

Phanes then treats the store as a whole.
Run the audit and enable care
You get a measurement verdict, a list of priced waste and alerts every 30 minutes.
Will Phanes change anything in the account without my knowledge?
No. Every budget change and every new campaign needs approval. New campaigns are created paused by default, and you can undo an executed change for 30 days.
Will Phanes replace my agency?
It does not have to. It gives you an independent view of the account and recommendations with an amount and a rule that you can discuss with your agency.
How soon will I see the first insights?
You run the audit right after connecting accounts. The full account analysis refreshes every night.
